BODY MAINTENANCE

Following a successful run of European dates earlier in the year to promote their recent Far From Here LP (Drunken Sailor Records), Naarm’s Body Maintenance will return to The Curtin for their only local headline show of 2026. Punters can expect the danceable yet downcast blend of 80s influenced goth/post-punk the band has spent close to a decade crafting. Negative Gears (Sydney/Eora) will be heading down the Hume to exhibit the intensely unique post-punk featured on both their incredible 2024 Moraliser LP (Static Shock UK) as well as premiering the soaring new material from a forthcoming record nearing completion. Joining Body Maintenance once again is fellow post-punk quartet Promaja, performing songs from their flawless debut Bravo Brava LP and local newcomers Secret Island, whose charming lo-fi pop is not to be missed.
