This show at the Curtin is a rare chance to see the beloved queer poet with a full band live in action, playing all the songs you love as well as teasing the launch of a new era, shared movingly and powerfully with her Naarm/Melbourne home community before anyone else. Ruby’s tender, strange, and delightfully ungovernable “lyrical wizardry” is beloved by everyone from triple j and Double J, to BBC and KCRW over the pond.
