"Moose & Caz launch their new album, Bench Seat Memories, with a winter Sunday afternoon show at Wesley Anne on High Street, Northcote, on 30 August, joined by special guests Van Walker Trio. Bench Seat Memories is a collection of songs shaped by memory, place, distance and the strange pull of the past. With tracks such as Copenhagen, Epping Line and Fitzroy Cowboy, the album moves through real and imagined places — from far-off cities to Melbourne streets and train lines. Built around warm melodies and featuring electric cello, the songs shift between sparse, melodic arrangements and darker, more atmospheric moments. For this launch show, Moose & Caz will perform songs from the new album in an intimate setting, the way these songs were meant to be heard.
