I am thrilled to finally announce something I’ve been working on! This work is deeply personal; an honest expression of my life and identity. I’m lucky enough to have an unbelievable band bring my art to life - Nick Gregory NIGHTJAR is a shifting, experimental ensemble exploring the art-music and performance poetry spaces. The group places a strong emphasis on the voice to convey both power and vulnerability - crafting intricate sonic worlds that are equal parts ethereal and unsettling. Drawing on a wealth of improvising experience, NIGHTJAR weaponises the volatile nature of human impulse. The ensemble palette culminates as a whirlwind of organic and digital textures; physicality and emotion at the forefront of a deeply considered sound.
