This May, Static is excited to bring you the Naarm debut of Berlin groove master, Chlär. Making up 1/2 of Funk Assault (w/ Alarico) and label boss of the prolific Bipolar Disorder imprint, Chlär has continued to impress globally with some of the most meticulous and diverse tracks in modern techno. Having featured on Mutual Rytm, BCCO and RAW, his portfolio has been critically acclaimed by some of the biggest figures in techno and with good reason - they simply make you get up and dance. As a DJ, his sets contain high energy grooves, funk, cuts and rolling rhythms that blur the lines between the 90s and new age techno sounds. His utilisation of 3-4 deck mixing illustrates Chlär’s uncompromising approach and positions him as a pioneer of modern techno. We are also looking forward to some returning and new faces to the Static dancefloor.
