Back Alley Sally

Blues Duo of the Year (VICTAS 2025), Back Alley Sally blends two distinctive voices in blues: Melbourne session player Benji Miu on guitar and vocals, and award-winning Julie Noble on blues harp. Their separate careers took them across the Americas, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East; now together forging a gritty, raw blues/rock sound. Performing originals, they’ve performed at iconic venues including the Blues Train, Blues on the Bay, and Hume Blues, and supported Geoff Achison’s 2025 album launch. Their debut EP, Motel Marathon, was produced by Achison and received airplay on blues stations across Australia.
