Jazz Singers' Jam Night - October 2026

Thursday's 1st October's Jazz Singers’ Jam Night promises to be exciting with lots of new and familiar voices. You will hear 12 wonderful singers perform with a stellar house band – Matthew Teakle on guitar, Samuel Vincent on bass and Dom Machen on drums. Singers include : Maria Springer, Stu Fisher, Guada Alvarez, Grace Arnell, Sara Hales, Lois Cutmore, Heather Fitzpatrick, Lauren Karan, Brigid Driscoll, Di Clark and more... with Ingrid James as host. Our JSJNs began in 2001 as a small gathering of passionate vocal jazz lovers which has now blossomed into a vibrant, ever-evolving community. Sometimes you will catch a touring artist passing through, other times you may be totally blown away by a newcomer, or you can sit back and hear your favourite pro on the stage. Each jam night feels like a family reunion. The Jazz Singers’ Jam Nights’ philosophy is to celebrate diversity of the artform; to showcase and cultivate a genuine and generous listening presence between audience and local artists, giving voice to all who are brave enough to explore their own vocal practice and human connection through the art of jazz and vocal improvisation.
