“haunting alto sax-led soundscape exploring the weight of single notes and beautiful decay.”
event details
Tonight Holly is joined by longtime friends and collaborators to play her album ‘Flood’.
‘FLOOD’ is a nostalgic soundscape, celebrating the complexity of seemingly simple melodies, and the beauty, decay, and fragility in a single note. This album is the product of the MIJF 2020 Take Note commission that Holly received and hasn’t been played since launching it at the 2024 Melbourne International Women’s Jazz Festival.
