Horses galloping and Thread Lunar New Year incoming!!! Join us for an event like no other Sunday February 22nd at Miscellania from 2pm to 1am. Lunar New Year takes on differing significance and meaning across Asian cultures. For Thread it is a celebration of community, a time of cultural exchange and pride, and an opportunity to acknowledge and pay respects to the Traditional Owners whose stolen lands we and our families have created a life upon. Marking the occasion, expect Miscellania’s first ever lion dance, traditional fortune telling, envelope decorating, a hybrid dance-theatre performance and Yang Thai cooking up a storm. Tying all the festivities together, we’ve got new artists, Thread favourites and some premiere back-to-backs of house, tech, bass and more.
