The Blend is set to celebrate over 2 decades of Broadcasting on PBS 106.7FM this March 15th 2024 at the Sub Club, featuring international guest SPECIAL REQUEST aka Paul Woolford. Special Request [UK] The program name is borrowed from The Herbaliser (UK) track The Blend featuring What What (now known as Jean Grae), lifted from the Blow Your Headphones album (released on Ninja Tune in 1997). While originally started by Campbell (Bevin Campbell), the show has since grown to include co-host Emelyne and monthly resident Beatski. The weekly program has become an integral part of the city's rich musical fabric. Inside the crew showcases a diverse mix of electronic music across the heavier end of the spectrum - from drum’n’bass, jungle, breakbeat, footwork, dubstep, grime, halftime, UK garage, IDM, experimental and beyond.
