<p><strong>SPYRAL | Melbourne Jazz Trio – Sydney Tour</strong></p><p>Join Melbourne contemporary jazz trio <strong>SPYRAL</strong> for an evening of original music and inventive improvisation as part of their debut Sydney tour.</p><p>Featuring <strong>Tristan Meffre</strong> (saxophones), <strong>Charlie Rank</strong> (double bass), and <strong>Alfie Pleasance</strong> (drums), SPYRAL draws inspiration from the exploratory music of <strong>Wayne Shorter</strong>, <strong>Joe Henderson</strong>, and the chordless tradition carried forward by artists such as the <strong>Joe Lovano Trio</strong> and <strong>New Jazz Underground</strong>.</p><p>The trio performs a dynamic blend of original compositions by all three members alongside carefully selected lesser-known jazz standards. With a focus on collective interaction, melodic improvisation, and musical conversation, each performance unfolds differently, balancing composition with the freedom of the moment.</p><p>Following recent performances across Melbourne, SPYRAL is excited to bring its music to Sydney for the first time.
