JAKE WHITTAKERJake Whittaker, an emerging force in the country music scene, has a passion for live performance and songwriting. His music intertwines country influences with a contemporary flair that's uniquely his own. In 2025, Jake took the leap of faith and auditioned for Australian Idol, making it into the final Top 10 and garnering a legion of new fans around the country. His debut country singles, "Round Here", "Drink To That” and “Later” have not only captured the ears of devoted listeners but have also piqued the interest of radio and key figures within the music industry. These tracks have played on stations such as KIX Country, ABC Country, and 94One Today’s Country, resonating not just locally but also internationally and not to mention their inclusion in playlists on Apple Music, Spotify and consistent rotation on CMT. The South-East Queensland singer-songwriter has remained steadfast in his adoration for country music. A beacon of authenticity, Jake Whittaker pays homage to his roots by embracing influences from the likes of Brothers Osborne, Zac Brown Band, Lee Brice, and Luke Combs. Jake's journey with music commenced at a young age, a passion that steered him toward pursuing a Bachelor of Popular Music. During his academic pursuit, he found himself in the company of other musicians and friends in the Australian country music sphere, such as Jared Porter (2014 Star Maker), Taylor Moss, Jared Adlam, and Michael Cole.Post his academic endeavors, music seamlessly continued to weave itself into Jake's life, with live performances occupying the spotlight of his career. Notable highlights of his career include events like; Bluesfest, Toyota Star Maker Top 10 Finalist, Teneriffe Festival, Yeppoon Village Festival, Bleach Festival, Glow Festival, Barossa Valley Bluesfest. Following a transformative five-year hiatus of global adventures with his fiance, Jake returned with a singular objective: to become a successful country musician. Since re-emerging Jake has thrown himself into his songwriting and had the opportunity to write with many talented Australian songsmiths. One notable release would be the Number 1 charting single, “Our Church”, by Matt Cornell
