Proud Noongar man Aaron Wyatt takes up the baton for the Conservatorium Symphony Orchestra as they perform his original composition, Voiceless: Reflections on a Referendum , in addition to Sergei Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 3 with soloist, Carina Weder , and Jean Sibelius’ majestic Symphony No. 2 in D major, Op. 43 . Wyatt is a celebrated conductor and composer who became the first Indigenous conductor of an Australian state orchestra, and we welcome him as the first Indigenous conductor of the Conservatorium Symphony Orchestra. Repertoire: Aaron Wyatt Voiceless: Reflections on a Referendum Sergei Prokofiev Piano Concerto No. 3 (Carina Weder, piano) Jean Sibelius Symphony No. 2 in D major, Op. 43.
