Second Refuge VOL.01

SECOND REFUGE is a new event series exploring themes of migration, displacement, identity, and belonging through the lens of electronic music and contemporary club culture. Launching during Refugee Week, Vol.01 joins Resident Advisor's global initiative supporting refugee communities through grassroots dancefloor events. The project aims to amplify the stories and creative perspectives of artists and communities shaped by refugee and diasporic experiences, while creating space for connection through sound and collective experience. Second Refuge is a community-led event presented during Refugee Week, operating on a pay-as-you-feel model. Donations go towards artist fees and event delivery, with any surplus proceeds donated to the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC) in Footscray.
