The John Steel Singers Reunion

The John Steel Singers return to the stage for a special reunion show at Black Bear Lodge on 5 September 2026, celebrating 20 years since the band first came together and 10 years since they played their final shows. Formed in Brisbane in 2006, the indie-pop collective earned a reputation for inventive songwriting, lush harmonies and joyous, genre-blurring live performances. The band rose to national prominence through Triple J support, winning Unearthed Artist of the Year in 2008 and releasing a string of acclaimed records including Tangalooma, Everything's a Thread and Midnight at the Plutonium. This one-night-only reunion promises a nostalgic journey through the band's catalogue and a last chance to see one of Brisbane's most cherished bands back on stage.
