Proto is popping back into Angel Music Bar once again, and we’re over the moon to welcome MLiR (Modern Life is Rubbish) for their first ever Australian tour! With releases on the legendary Studio Barnhaus label, they’ve partnered with the likes of DJ Harvey, Axel Boman, Kornél Kovács, Danilo Plessow aka MCDE, Gilles Peterson, DJ Koze, Roman Flügel, Move D, Dixon, Nicola Cruz, Haai and Prins Thomas (just to name a few). Swedish DJ Marco Gegenheimer – the half soul of MLiR – currently owns his online record store @Magicteapotrecords and runs the highly acclaimed, highly eclectic party ‘Calamari Rolls Royce’ at Malasaña in Madrid.
