An intrepid live act, versatile DJ, and adventurous storyteller - Sa Pa uses freeform rhythms, drums and the sonic phenomena of field recordings to weave wild soundscapes of spatiotemporal immersion. Inspired by memory, the mystery of time, and environmental themes - the artist applies dub, minimal and ambient influences to a rare mix of complex frequencies, pure tones and cutting edge sounds. Presenting a truly unique experience for the dancefloor and deeper listening environment - existentialism, liminality and leitmotifs of the absurd also inform Sa Pa’s work. The artist has released music with Astral Industries, Mana and Marcel Dettmann Records, to newer upstart imprints like Rosa and Lamassu since the release of his debut opus Fuutbutsushi (風物詩).
