PUT YA BACK IN IT brings together some of Sydney’s most exciting young selectors and culture-shakers for five B2Bs across the harder, sweatier edges of queer club music. Bass-heavy club, Jersey, ballroom, dancehall, gqom, amapiano, breaks, percussive house and techno, booty music and edits collide across the night. Different sounds, shared language: heavy percussion, big bass and music made to move bodies. Each B2B pairs DJs with distinct but overlapping sounds, pushing sets into unexpected territory through fast switches, genre collisions and whatever makes sense in the moment. Between sets: Drag from NIKITA IMAN and OXY-KODEINE, pole from BASJIA and a live lap dance from TRASHANGEL. Queer + BIPOC Baddies to the front, everyone else welcome with care and respect.
