Becoming an Australian Idol Finalist in 2005 stamped Dan Spillane as an artist to watch, finishing fifth out of 30,000 acts is a tremendous achievement for such a young artist. His ability to entertain a crowd is second to none. One of the most diverse singers to emerge in Australia, you can expect to hear Jazz, Pop, Rock, Folk, Blues and Soul regularly from Dan. Dan’s ability to take a song somewhere else and make it his own is the trademark of this young, fresh, highly entertaining guitarist/singer. Reckless are locals’ favourites here at the Orient: incorporating audience participation with a modern choice of songs as well as the classics including requests. Their repertoire is upbeat and diverse ranging in many styles from rock to pop, dance and country which enables them to entertain a wide range of audiences.
