OzManouche 2026 presents Echoes of Cirque

Echoes of Cirque captures the essence of Django Reinhardt and the allure of 1930s Paris, giving a fresh spin to the classic sounds of jazz manouche. They mix infectious beats, alluring melodies and heartfelt improvisation to make a truly captivating musical journey. Formed at Woodford Folk Festival, they've grown into one of the leading jazz manouche acts in Australia. On stage, Echoes of Cirque brings a rare combination of energy and virtuosity — lightning-fast unison lines and searing solos delivered with the kind of chemistry that only comes from players who've cut their teeth together in the deep end of a festival crowd. It's a live show built to hold a room: engaging and full of momentum, with the technical command to reward close listening and the swing to get a crowd moving. Since their debut album Fig. 1 was released in 2025, the group has been making waves with their performances across Australia, including sets at Woodford Folk Festival and MONA, with Maleny Folk Festival on the horizon.
