This Tuesday features sets from Sophie Marcheff & Louis Smith Sophie Marcheff is a fingerstyle guitarist based in Narrm/Melbourne whose compositions explore contrapuntal textures paired with a rich yet understated harmonic language. Sophie's broader musical practice spans contemporary/experimental notated and improvised music, popular Brazilian music, and chamber music. // Louis Smith is a Naarm/Melbourne-based guitarist and composer whose practice revolves around the integration of contemporary guitar-based musical styles and contemporary (classical) concert music. Louis also performs in a diverse range of contemporary musical projects that actively perform across Melbourne and interstate.
