House Full of Squirrels Presents: Squirrel Situation & Baillies Bazaar

They mastered alliterated bandnames, and now they’ve turned their grubby fingers to all things traditional and contemporary folk music. SS & BB are a group of friends who love fiddle tunes and have difficulty sitting still - bios below: Baillie’s Bazaar is the brain demon of fiddler/composer Liam Baillie, who set out to answer age-old questions like ‘why does this Bulgarian Kopanitsa make me feel sad inside?’ and ‘did that fiddle tune really need all those Justin Timberlake samples?’. He is joined onstage by his dearest friends in the whole world, and one mortal enemy (but they don’t know that). The Squirrel Situation are a contemporary folk duo consisting of Jess Foot (fiddle) and Noah Churches (guitar). They performing their original music, inspired by traditional and classical worlds, as well as new music such as the works of Punch Brothers, Brittany Haas, Julian Lage and Edgar Meyer. Combining their diverse musical backgrounds, they meet on a shared love for fiddle tunes and write together in a way that they could never on their own.
