Both Kelly and Boris have performed at countless festivals and gigs, from the Broadford Rock Concert to the Hilton Green Room. In recent years they compiled the Wild Women Show, expanding the band to include Nick Carrafa on drums and Peter Howell on bass. Peter has played with Lil Fi and supported Bert Jansch on tour, while Nick has played with Threes Company and the Urban Nomads. An eclectic band with vast experience and a powerful repertoire, their sets will be electrifying. Over the past ten years, Kelly, Boris, Nick and Peter have performed Australias festival circuit individually and with various bands. Uniting for their first festival, the band exploded onto Australia's live music scene with their soulful sounds and dynamic sets in Goulburn in 2004! Wild Women is a tribute to great women singers from the 1920s to the 1960s. Playing rousing Gospel, Rhythm and Blues, Country, Jazz and Rock, Kelly and her band take their audience on a journey through time. A powerful and lively costumed show, Wild Women features the stories of Bessie Smith, Billie Holiday, Josephine Baker, Edith Piaf, Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald, Peggy Lee, Patsy Cline, Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner and Janis Joplin. Writers, musicians, painters, wives, mothers and activists, these women left a brilliant legacy for singers who follow in their footsteps and for music lovers the world over.
