The Beefs

Driven by frontman, Sammy Smith, The Beefs formed in 2015 and were based on a sound that blended elements of rock, pop and a heavy dose of humour. Mix in some Australian spirit and nostalgic references and you've got yourself a delectable combo. The Beefs have collaborated with award-winning artists, such as Matt Corby, Kirin J. Callinan and Julian Sudek (Royel Otis, Genesis Owusu), which helped them carve out some iconic tracks. The song Red Bellied Black Snake alone has amassed millions of listens and has featured in high profile snowboarding and surf videos.
