Nick O’Mara

Nick O'Mara is an unsigned multi instrumentalist, singer and song writer residing in Melbourne. His songs are a mixture of acoustic, fingerpicking guitar with a Beatles sensibililty and lyrics that range from playful to dark. While concentrating on his own songs and gigs he floats between a number of different outfits including Yanto Shorits' touring band, in which he plays slide guitar and mandolin, instrumental, sound scapey three piece the Butcherbirds (not to be confused with the brisbane band "Butcher Birds") in which he plays electric guitar and bass and in his bluegrass/country outfit Fingerbone Bill, he swaps between mandolin, guitar, banjo, double bass and singing.
