‘Gigi.’ marks the first solo venture from Naarm/Melbourne artist Gigi Argiro (Public Figures, Folk Bitch Trio). Stepping out on their own, Gigi uses this project as a space to unravel stories of identity, relationships, and all the mess, clarity, and emotion that comes with growing into their own. Rooted in the 90s alternative rock they were raised on, ‘Gigi.’ channels the spirit of guitar-forward, and melody soaked alternative rock. The result is a sound that feels intimate and expansive, nostalgic but full of new energy. Produced by Gigi with collaboration of long time friend Lewis Mosley and Mixed by Bonnie Knight this debut single highlights a side of Gigi and their personal attachment to songwriting that people have not yet heard.
