Emmy Ryan is a multi-instrumentalist who writes folk music for today’s times, pulling no punches in exploring colonisation,
climate change, capitalism, and love. Her debut EP I Ain’t So Blue, released September 2024, is a collection of “songs of solitude and solidarity; heartfelt, hopeful, and grounded in desert dust”. The EP received acclaim and airplay on radio around the country.
