Always inspired by their own experiences and the daily life, they shot in april of 2008 their new video clip "Dólar Diez Centavos", based on real facts of immigrants searching for the american dream. With Fernando Puerta director and « Locomotora Produccion Audiovisual” label producer, "Dólar diez centavos" is the newest La 45 way of international fame, thanks to the musical and artistical hard works. In December 2008 the band released their 2nd album untitled "Canciones tristes y largos días", dealing with their experiences between Bogota and Medellin cities. Chalo Hernandez left the band in 2009 and the rest of LA 45 recorded 2 songs at ''La Finca Studios''produced by Toby Tobon (Juanes, Carlos Santana, David Bisbal, Amaury Gutierrez).
