With his departure from Bionikworld earlier this year, it was only a matter of time before a debut album was in the works and with the recent release of “Into The Desert Blue”, it is no surprise to hear the culmination of T-Rek’s diverse musical influences and abilities being described as though “The Kills, Queens of the Stone Age, and the Beach Boys joined forces to make a disco album, with Chicken Lips and DJ Shadow at the production helm, Tom Waites on percussion and Dave Grohl on drums.”
